My Contemporary Work
The majority of my impressionist marine and landscape paintings are done plein-air, in front of the subject, along with the flies, wind, dust and heat.
However, when I take a break from plein-air painting I enjoy exploring new ways to paint through my abstract works. These are my opportunity to experiment with different mediums and techniques to create something completely unique.
Contemporary abstract painting needs contemplation and new ways of thinking, working this way can be exciting and unpredictable, but art knowledge and growth happens when it all comes together.
